The Michelin tires Costco sells in Canada are $100 off a set of 4 or more until November 1, 2026, taken off instantly, and Costco installs them at $0. Michelin is also paying its own $100 rebate on a prepaid Mastercard through December 18, but only for tires bought from participating dealers. Our advice: if you're a member and the Michelin you want is in stock, buy before November 1; Costco's free installation and lifetime maintenance are worth more than the difference between the two offers.
How much do you save on Michelin tires at Costco?
$100 on 4 or more new Michelin passenger or light truck tires, taken off at the register, from September 28 to November 1, 2026, according to Costco's tire site on October 3, 2026. Costco says conditions apply. On top of the offer, you pay nothing to install or balance the tires; you do pay the provincial recycling fee, any TPMS service pack and tax, as our tire cost guide explains.
Which Michelin tires does Costco sell in Canada?
Costco's Michelin page lists 6 lines (sizes and stock vary by warehouse):
| Michelin line | What it's for |
|---|---|
| CrossClimate 2 | Michelin's all-weather tire, for drivers who want one set all year |
| X-Ice Snow+ | Dedicated winter tire |
| Defender 2 | All-season tire for cars and minivans |
| Defender LTX M/S 2 | All-season tire for SUVs and light trucks |
| Pilot Sport All Season 4 | Performance all-season tire |
| Pilot Sport 4S | Summer performance tire |
If you need tires for snow, check the sidewall for the mountain snowflake symbol: Quebec requires it from December 1 to March 15. Our winter tire guide covers the provincial rules.
Can you combine Costco's offer with Michelin's $100 rebate?
Don't count on it. Michelin's Winter Promotion 2026 pays $100 on a Michelin Prepaid Mastercard for 4 new passenger or light truck tires bought from September 21 to December 18, 2026, but only from participating dealers; Michelin says purchases from non-participating dealers are denied. We couldn't confirm that Costco takes part, so check Michelin's dealer list, or ask your Tire Centre, before you assume both apply.
Is Costco or a Michelin dealer better for Michelin tires?
Both offers are worth $100 on a set of 4, so the services decide it:
| Costco | Participating Michelin dealer | |
|---|---|---|
| Offer | $100 off instantly, to November 1, 2026 | $100 prepaid Mastercard, to December 18, 2026 |
| When you get it | At the register | After you submit a claim online or by mail |
| Installation and balancing | $0 | Usually extra |
| Rotations and flat repairs | $0 for the life of the tires | Varies by dealer |
| Road hazard cover | Costco's 5-year warranty, included | Varies by dealer |
| Membership | Required ($65 a year for Gold Star) | None |
For a member, Costco usually comes out ahead. If you're not a member, or you need tires after November 1, a participating dealer's rebate is the better route.
What warranty do Michelin tires from Costco have?
Two layers. Costco adds its 5-year road hazard warranty and lifetime maintenance (details in our Tire Centre guide). Michelin adds its own coverage, which in Canada includes a 60-day satisfaction guarantee, 3 years of roadside assistance, and a treadwear warranty that varies by tire line; check the kilometres for your model before you buy.
When is the best time to buy Michelin tires at Costco?
During an offer. Costco rotates brand offers on sets of 4 every few weeks, and Michelin's current one ends November 1, 2026. Costco has run $100-off Michelin offers before, including a New Year's tire sale, so if you miss this one and can wait, another is likely. If you need winter tires, don't wait for the snow: book your installation early. We track Costco tire prices and offers on our tires page.
